Is That Condo Approved for FHA....MORE!

I have found that often-times the listing agents do not list the complex name in their listings. Then what????

Here is the answer!!!

Pull up the property’s information on public records using the property’s assessor’s parcel number (which is always shown on the listing).  On the parcel map, there is a 4-digit “Tract” number shown.  (Sometimes this number also shows up on the data portion of the public record; it definitely is always on the parcel map, but sometimes is a little difficult to read.)

That 4-digit “Tract” number is shown on the HUD list of approved condo complexes, above the name of each approved complex.

So…if you don’t have a complex name, you can still determine whether or not the complex is FHA approved!!  Much better than waiting for the HOA documents!

(Just a note, as of April 8, 2009, there are 152 complexes in San Jose that are FHA approved….4 in Campbell, 5 in Milpitas, 4 in Morgan Hill, and 9 in Santa Clara.)
